Odell Walls
A funeral was held this afternoon for Odell O. WALLS,
54, of Owens Cross Roads who was killed in an accident involving an electric
welding machine Wednesday night.
The service was at the Owens Cross Roads Methodist
Church at 3 p.m. today with Charles MAPLES and Earl ARNOLD officiating. Burial was in Moon Cemetery with Butler
Brothers Funeral Home of New Hope in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Walls was member of the Northern Lodge 278,
F&AM, of the Shriners, and the Thurla Rice Chapter No. 405, Order of
Eastern Star.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Jennie Cooper WALLS; one
brother, Jesse G. WALLS of Owens Cross Roads; one nephew, Rex WALLS of Owens
Cross Roads; one niece, Mrs. Jack McCUTCHEON of Honolulu.
Active pallbearers will be O. D. RAINEY, Wilburn GLOVER,
Ed LEE, Fred KELLY, Frank KELLY, and Bruce MAPLES.
Honorary pallbearers will be friends and neighbors and
will include the employees of the maintenance shop of the first shift at
Huntsville Manufacturing Co.
