Uncle Bob Walls Passes At Home

Retired Farmer, Had Been In Ill Health, funeral Set Monday

 

Robert W. (Uncle Bob) WALLS, 75, died at his home in Owens Cross Roads Saturday night at 10:30.  He was a retired farmer and had been ill for sometime.

 

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Owens Cross Roads Methodist Church with Butler Bros. of New Hope in charge.  The Revs. Jack CAIN and Roy STONE will officiate with burial in Moon Cemetery.

 

Mr. Walls is survived by two sons, Odell WALLS and Jesse WALLS; two grandchildren, Rex WALLS and Mrs. Jack McCUTCHEON; several half brothers and half sisters.

 

Active pallbearers, all nephews, will be Paul WALLS, E. C. WALLS, Gilbert DRAKE, John HONEA, Robert WALLS and A. C. WALLS.

 

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. J. E. WHITAKER, Dr. J. L. CARPENTER, A. H. ELLETT, J. W. PATTERSON, John MOON, R. M. CRAFT, Richard BRANNUM, Charley WILLIAMS, Wilburn GLOVER, Jim CAWTHON and Anus BOSTICK.
