Illness Fatal To Mrs. Glover

Resident Of Owens Cross Roads Dies Of Pneumonia

 

Mrs. Mary Ellen GLOVER, 67, of Owens Cross Roads, died at her home this morning at 12:30 o’clock.  She had been ill several days with pneumonia.

 

Mrs. Glover was a member of the Cave Springs Baptist Church, and had been in the county 51 years.

 

Funeral services were held this afternoon at 4 o’clock at Cave Springs Baptist Church, with the Revs. Roy STONE and H. S. BRANUM officiating.  Burial was in Moon Cemetery with Laughlin-Service Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

 

Mrs. Glover is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charley BUFORD and Mrs. W. W. TABOR, of Owens Cross Roads; one son, W. W. GLOVER, of Owens Cross Roads; one sister, Mrs. Georgie McDONALD, of Owens Cross Roads and several nieces and nephews.

 

Active pallbearers were Charley GLOVER, Marvin BUFORD, Harry BUFORD, Lonzie BUFORD, Junior TABOR and Odell GLOVER.

 

Honorary pallbearers include A. H. ELLETT, Mose CRAFT, Herbert CRAFT, Lee CHANDLER, Charley ESSLINGER, Charley CLARK, Tom JONES, Dr. J. D. HOLLIMAN, Dr. James CARPENTER and John MOON.
