Retired County Teacher Dies

 

A funeral for Mrs. Wilson (Ruby) MANN, 45, will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Owens Cross Roads Church of Christ with Ralph SAMPLES officiating.  Burial will be in Moon Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Mann, the former Ruby CRAFT, died at her home Tuesday at 3 a.m.  She was a member of the Church of Christ and a teacher in the Madison County School System 20 years before resigning three years ago due to illness.

 

She is survived by her husband, a son, Gardiner Wilson MANN Jr.; a granddaughter, Ruby Gail MANN; a grandson, Gardiner Wilson MANN III; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. CRAFT; two aunts, Mrs. J. W. PATTERSON and Mrs. J. B. TABOR; all of Owens Cross Roads; and two uncles, A. J. McDONALD, Huntsville, and John W. McDONALD, Memphis.

 

Pallbearers will be Lawrence HEREFORD, Albert H. BUTLER Jr., Cortice COOPER, Jim CAWTHON, Frank CARPENTER and Bill COBB.

 

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. James L. CARPENTER, Dr. Carl A. McCANDLISH and Dr. A. L. WATSON.

 

Butler Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
