Letson Funeral Is Set Saturday

Service For Resident Of Owens Cross Roads Will Be Held At Home

 

Funeral services for Mrs. R. A. LETSON, 57, who died at her home in Owens Cross Roads yesterday morning at 11:30 o’clock, will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock at the residence.

 

The Rev. Roy STONE and the Rev. Posey MAPLES will officiate.  Interment, directed by Butler Brothers of New Hope, will be in Moon Cemetery.

 

Active pallbearers will be John C. CARSON, R. H. BAKER, R. S. RICH, L. K. KENNEDY, Sidney COBB and Grady RICH.

 

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. J. L. CARPENTER, R. M. CRAFT, Harry MAPLES, Allen MARTIN, Horton WILBURN, Moody ELLIOTT [ELLETT], R. M. MOON, Houston SADLER, A. H. ELLIOTT [ELLETT], Harry CRAFT, J. J. WALLS, Monroe SNEED, Marvin GLASS, John SNEED and Homer MARTIN.

 

Surviving besides the husband are two sons, Arnold D. LETSON of Gurley and Lewis E. LETSON, of Scottsboro; two daughters, Tressie V. LETSON and Mary Pearl LETSON, at home; one brother, L. M. JAMES, Holt, Ala., and a sister, Mrs. Hugh HICKS, Baltimore, Md.

 

A half brother and two half sisters also survive.
