Funeral Planned for Mrs. Baker
Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Maria BAKER, 77,
will be held today at 2 p.m. from the Cedar Point Church of Christ, with Edward
GLOVER officiating. Burial will follow at Baker Cemetery at Owens Cross Roads.
Mrs. BAKER, who lived with a daughter, Miss Ruby
BAKER of New Hope, died yesterday at 4:45 a.m. at her home, after an illness.
She is survived by two daughters, Miss BAKER and
Mrs. Henry TURNER of New Hope; five sons, Ed BAKER of Huntsville, O. L. BAKER,
Hugh BAKER, Murphy BAKER and Robert BAKER, all of New Hope; four sisters, Mrs.
Benton MANN of Harvest, Mrs. Lowe PATTERSON of Owens Cross Roads, Mrs. Allen
BAKER of Scottsboro, and Miss Margaret LYON of Fort Payne; one brother, Renzie
LYON.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers at the funeral.
Butler Brothers Funeral Home of New Hope will direct.
