Traffic Victim Rites Are Held


Funeral services for Mrs. Ella COWAN, 64, who was injured in an automobile accident about two months ago and died Saturday night at 6 o’clock at her home in Hebron were held this afternoon at 1 o’clock from the Hebron Church.

The Rev. H. S. BRANUM officiated. Interment was in Baker cemetery, near Owens Cross roads, with Butler Brothers of New Hope in charge.

Survivors include two sons, Richard COWAN of Hebron and Murphy COWAN of New Hope; one daughter, Mrs. Thurston WALKER of Hebron; three sisters, Mrs. Claude BROOKS, New Hope; Mrs. Kate CAMPBELL, Tyler Texas, and Mrs. Walter HODGES of Poplar Ridge; three half-brothers, Charles BAKER and Floyd BAKER of Owens Cross Roads and Jim P. BAKER of New Hope.
