Willie Lee BYRD, 62, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home chapel with Burt BAKER and Jimmy MORROW officiating. Burial will be in Neal’s Chapel Cemetery in Owens Cross Roads.

Survivors include two daughters, Katrella BURCH of Georgia and Sheri BYRD of California; two sons, Otis Lee BYRD of Colorado and Randy BYRD of Wisconsin; his father, Phillip BYRD of Owens Cross Roads; one sister, Margaret WATSON of Huntsville; one brother, Unice BYRD of Huntsville; and nine grandchildren. Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
