Mrs. Christine Byrd

A funeral for Mrs. Christine Byrd, 52, of 2008 Sewanee Rd., who died Thursday at a local hospital will be announced by Spry Funeral Home. It will be at Big Cove Holiness Church, the Rev. Paul Stone and the Rev. Mitchell Drake officiating. Burial will be in Neal Chapel Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Artis Byrd and Buford Ray Byrd, both of Huntsville; a daughter, Mrs. Emma Snead of Germany; three stepsons, Earl Byrd, Charlie Byrd, and Harvey Byrd, all of Owens Cross Road; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Gracie Gentle of Huntsville; three sisters, Mrs. Louella Worley of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Vergie McKelvy of Huntsville, Mrs. Hattie Bell Reed of St. Louis, Mo.

Pallbearers will be Gilbert Drake, Frances Dunn, Robert McNeese, W.D. Stone, Rev. Norman Mitchell, Phillip Walls.
