OWENS CROSS ROADS – Margaret Ruth DAMRON, 82, died Friday at a Huntsville Hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at New Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard ANDERSON officiating. Burial will be in Neal’s Chapel Cemetery with the New Hope Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Damron was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. W. DAMRON; and one son, Johnny DAMRON.

Survivors include four daughters, Carol CHANDLER of Hartselle, Patricia DEVOLE of Tuscaloosa, Nancy OVERTON of Bellville, Ontario, and Diane PINKERTON of Owens Cross Roads; two sisters, Sara BROAD of Huntsville and Maude GUY of Montevallo; and nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
