Death of George Sanders
Hon. Geo. SANDERS on of the oldest and most prominent citizens of Madison County, owner of Johnson’s Wells, an old time famous summer resort, was found dead in his bed by his wife who had left him only fifteen minutes before to get his breakfast. He had been in poor health for several months. Mr. Sanders was seventy years old, was a Confederate Veteran and for a time a representative of Madison Co. in the Alabama legislature.
