Minnie Bea Bird

MADISON – Mrs. Minnie Bea Bird, 87, of 718-A Nance Road, Madison died Wednesday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Big Cove Holiness Church with the Rev. Paul Stone, the Rev. Elige Holland and the Rev. Oakley Drake officiating.

Burial will be in Neals Chapel Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Bird was a native of Lincoln County, Tenn.

Survivors include two daughters, Maybell Walls of Owens Cross Roads and Maymie Holland of Madison; two sons, Floyd C. Bird of Pinson and James Herman Bird of Huntsville; a sister, Virginia Cantrell of Huntsville; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be today from 6:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
