Troy Milton ROSINBAUM – October 16, 1923 – April 23, 2003

Troy Milton ROSINBAUM, age 79, of New Hope, passed away Wednesday at Huntsville Hospital after a lengthy respiratory illness.  Troy was a Baptist minister.  He pastored several churches in California, Texas and Alabama.  He is survived by his wife Betty ROSINBAUM; one son, Eugene ROSINBAUM of Georgia; one step-daughter, Katrina LOVILL (Blake) of Madison; six step-sons, Donnie BERRY (Kelly) of Owens Cross Roads, Doug BERRY (Kyu) of Huntsville, Jamie BERRY (Tessa) of Huntsville, Chuck BERRY (Pam) of Huntsville and Steve BERRY (Mary) of New Market; nineteen step-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; sisters, Ima Jo TRACEY, Iona McCOOL, Mae HAMMOND, all of Sulphur Springs, Texas and Opal KENNER of Fort Worth, Texas; grandson, Jason ROSINBAUM; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.  Funeral service will be at Grace Baptist Church at 11 a.m. today with Bro. Charles Hammond officiating.  Interment will be at Moon Cemetery in Owens Cross Roads.  The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service. New Hope Funeral Home is assisting the family.

 

Norman R. FARRIOR – January 31, 1931 – March 20, 2003

Norman R. FARRIOR was born to Virgil C. FARRIOR and Rhoda Bailey FARRIOR in Dutton.  He had lived in Madison County for the passed 43 years where he had many friends.  He was a retired Bailiff with Jackson County Circuit Court and also retired as a Cotton States Insurance Agent.  While an agent for Cotton States, he won numerous awards and honors.  He was a member of the Owens Cross Roads Church of Christ.  He served in the military during the Korean War.  He was a graduate of Pisgah High School and Southern Union College where he coached the basketball team.  He also attended Athens College.  Mr. Farrior was preceded in death by a brother, John W. FARRIOR and two sisters, Ruby Jo LONG and Merle GRIFFIN.  He is survived by his wife Velma Clark FARRIOR; one stepson, Michael (Beverly); two brothers, Winfred FARRIOR (Vonda) of Trenton, Georgia and David FARRIOR (Charlotte) of East Ridge, Tennessee and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel with Harold KELLY officiating and the eulogy by David FARRIOR.  Burial will be in the Moon Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or to Hospice Family Care.

James G. Dudley (Died June 19, 2003)


James Gordon DUDLEY, 65, of Owens Cross Roads, died Thursday at his residence. Mr. Dudley was a mechanic for Bentley Pontiac for 35 years.

He is survived by his wife Vera (Byram) DUDLEY; four daughters, Mildred Stephens of Gurley, Irene ANDREWS and Lisa LEDBETTER, both of New , and Tammy DAVIS of Owens Cross Roads; six sons, James E. "Buddy" DUDLEY, Danny Ray DUDLEY, Randy Wayne DUDLEY, Carl DUDLEY and David DUDLEY, all of Owens Cross Roads, and Jimmy Lee DUDLEY of Grant; one sister, Floella WORLEY of Owens Cross Roads and one brother, Robert DUDLEY of Athens. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and three step-greatgrandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by New Hope Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel with Bro. Wayne WALLS officiating. Interment will be at Moon Cemetery.
