HOPE - Mamie Patterson MAPLES, 86, died
Monday at her home. The funeral will be
Thursday at 11 a.m. at Cave Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike GREEN and
the Rev. Pete BREWER officiating.
Burial
will be in Byrd Cemetery with New Hope Funeral Home in charge. She was a member of the church.
Survivors
include two daughters, Mary Ann BROWN of Decatur and Patricia COSBY of
Adairsville, Ga.; three sons, Dewey Wayne MAPLES and Donald Ray MAPLES, both of
New Hope, and Lindsey MAPLES of Lynchburg, Tenn.; four sisters, Dorothy ELKINS,
Evelyn HOPKINS and Virgie MAPLES, all of New Hope, and Thelma PATTERSON of
Decatur; two brothers, William PATTERSON of Huntsville and Ralph PATTERSON of
New Hope; and 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m.
and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
