Richard H. McPeters

Richard Houston McPeters, 79, of 3512 Eighth Ave., died yesterday at his home after a long illness.

A funeral will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Big Cove Holiness Church. Burial will be in Neals Chapel, with Laughlin Service directing.

Mr. Houston was a veteran of World War I, and was a resident of the Big Cove Community until 15 years ago, when he moved to Huntsville.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Florence Bird, Huntsville, and number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include Leonard Baker, Otis Young, Herbert Ivey, Aubrey Burke, Robert Dempsey and Artis Bird.

Honorary pallbearers include Dr. James Carpenter, Sam McCoy, Leon Moore and James Hindman.

The body will remain at the funeral home until time of service.
