Maggie L. Whorton

Maggie L. WHORTON, age 77, of Owens Cross Roads, died Monday at her residence. She was preceded in death by one son, David WHORTON, Jr. and one brother, Estel ROGERS. She is survived by two daughters, Mildred CRAFT (Sonny) and Judy BAKER (Carl) both of Huntsville; one son, Danny E. WHORTON (Sheila) of Grant; two sisters, Edna PHILPOT of Toledo, Ohio and Lois JACKSON of Columbia, Tenn; two brothers, Mason ROGERS of Toledo, Ohio and Doyce Ray ROGERS of Ardmore; eight grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel with Bro. Wayne WALLS and Bro. Dwight WILLMON officiating. Interment will be at Neal’s Chapel Cemetery in Owens Cross Roads.
