Living in Paris, Texas in 1930 was a Nina Moore, age 63, single, whose parents had come from Kentucky, just as Charlie's parents had. Conjecture - was she a friend/relative of the family. She lived with her brother Edwin, who was also single at age 58.

There is an Edgar and Auty Sewell, ages 23, married, living in Plainview, Texas at the time of the 1930 census. As there are no other Sewells that match in Texas, and this is where she was according to Martha Maben, I think this is her. Never heard that nickname, though. Interestingly, her future 3rd husband, Clarence, was living nearby with his two daughters. Martha Maben indicates that it was not long after this that Nina and her future 2nd husband, Tom, "ran off together as they were very much in love". Tom had a wife who was a Native American, although I can't find them in the census of 1930.
