William Walter

William was in Falmouth, Maine with his parents and upon their settling in
Charlestown, MA, he was apprenticed to Thomas Rand, mariner, of Charlestown in
1693. In 1732, William sold the land in Falmouth, left to him in his father's
will, to Phinehas Jones. Sometime after this and before 1739 William and his
third wife Mary removed with their children, Thomas, William, Pierce, Henry
and Charles to Goshen, Connecticut. When William died in 1770, he was living
in New Haven. His will was dated 18 May 1757.
