A certain Tract or Parcel of Land, containing one hundred acres situate in Nicholas County on the North side of Elk river & the right fork of little Otter Creek a North branch of same, & bounded as follows, Beginning at a white oak & beech corner to his own land & leaving N85E 38 poles to a beech hickory & poplar S52E 62 poles to a beech S81E 57 poles to a chesnut oak N43E 63 poles to a beech & poplar N60W 220 poles to a white oak & two beeches S25 W 124 poles to a beech corner to his own land & with his line S54E 60½ poles to the beginning with its appurtenances
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said Tract or Parcel of Land, with its appurtenances, to the said George Cutlip and his heirs forever.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said Littn. W. Tazewell Esq. Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, hath hereunto set his Hand and caused the Lesser Seal of the said Commonwealth to be affixed, at Richmond, on the 25th day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty five and of the Commonwealth the 60th ~
