Descendant of Capt. Abraham Piatt, as follows: 1. William Hart Piatt (1816-1906) m. 1838 Clarinda Marquiss (1819-93). 2. James Andrew Piatt (1789-1838) m. 1815 Jemima Ford (1792-1836). 3. Abraham Piatt m. Annabelle Andrew (d. 1822). Abraham Piatt (1741-91) was captain, 1777, of the 2nd company, Middlesex County, New Jersey militia, in Colonel Neilson's regiment.
