Mary Ann is recorded in the Burial Register as having died 28 October 1862, Buried 28 October 1862, aged 42 years, with the Minister officiating being J Redclift
On enquiring, the plot, numbered 296, belonging to Mary Ann BOWLEY is being used as one of the known reference points in the centre of the Cemetery
On stepping out the distances from a known and visible broken slate headstone, it was found that Plot 296 was under a fallen tree
Alas, there was no sign of any headstone
