Born about 1617 ("aged sixty-four years or thereabouts" in Apr 1681). Came to Plymougth Colony in 1635, & first settled in Plymouth. Moved to Boston by 1649 & Taunton by 1662. Died between [torn] Apr 1681 (date of will) & 29 Oct 1681 (probate of will).

Married (1) by 1649, Martha Chandler, daughter of ROGER CHANDLER. She died at Taunton 1 May 1674.

(2) in Taunton MA, 9 Jan 1676, Ruth Gurney (bride's surname given incorrectly as "Surney.") She was widow of John Gurney of Mendon & married as her 3rd husband, Guido Bailey.

On 31 May 1671, "John Bundy of Taunton" stated to the Massachusetts Bay General Court that "your poor petitioner diverse years since was an inhabitant in the town of Boston having only one relation in the cointry viz: one own aunt who was the wife of Mr. Phillip Alley deceased." 4
