King Menasseh (Menashe, Menasses) (b. 697 B.C.E., ruled Judah 695-642 B.C.E.) married Meshullemeth daughter of Haruz (Hanuz) of Jobtbb. Wicked kind. Introduced idolatry into Israelite religion and merilessly shed innocent blood (II Kings 21). He accused the prophet Isaiah (his maternal grandfather) of teaching heresy and had him killed while he was hiding in a tree.1
