Judith de Nantes (died on 27 February 1063 ) Countess holder Nantes of 1051 to 1063 . Daughter of Nantes Judicaël she married into 1026 Alain Canhiart the Earl of Cornwall .
At the death of his wife's nephew, the young Matthias I of Nantes , only son of Budic Nantes , Alain Canhiart managed to take over the county of Nantes on behalf of his son Hoel II of Britain , despite the claims of Duke Conan II of Britain , which after trying to seize Nantes must bow in 1054 .
Hoel , governs the county of Nantes in the name of his mother from that date. First, it seals his reconciliation with Conan II of Brittany by marrying his sister Havoise before 1058 . He imposes his younger brother Guérech as Bishop of Nantes in 1059 instead of a cleric Airard reformer, abbot of Saint Paul Outside the Walls , which had been driven by the haves and 1051 .
Judith died on 27 February 1063 .
