Pierre was born to John de Breux de Bretagne, II also known as Jean II, de Bretagne (1286–1305) Earl of Richmond, Duke of Britanny, and Beatrice of England (1242–1275). Beatrice was the daughter of Henry Plantagenet, III, King of England and Eleanor Bergener. [1] Pierre was buried in eglise des Cordeliers, Paris, France.

Pierre was the father of Pierre Morlaiux (1320–1380). Pierre Morlaiux was also known as Pierre Perkyns, Pierre Morlais, Pierre de Morlais, Pierre Morley, and Pierre de Morlaix. Pierre Morlaiux married Agnes Taylor (1352–1399) the daughter of John Taylor (1327–1377) and Margaret Welmote (1328-xxxx).
