Fullerton, Jeremiah Ellsworth, son of Galen Otis and Sarah Ann (Ellsworth) Fullerton, was born in Keadville, Me., 1844, July 4. Bath High School. Graduated, Bowdoin College, 1865, and Andover Theological Seminary, 1870. Principal, Bath High School, 1865, and of Hallowell Academy, 1866-7; ordained, Cumberland Mills, Me., 1870, Sept. 8, and acting pastor there, 1870-2; installed, Southbridge, Mass., 1873, July 22, dismissed, 1876, Nov. 7; installed, Laconia, N. H., 1877, Oct. 17, dismissed, 1881, March 1; acting pastor, Hopkinton, Mass., 1881-6; Brighton, 1887-91; installed, Bellows Falls, Vt., 1891, March 25, and died in office. Married, 1876, Oct. 12, Sarah Elizabeth, daughter of Christopher Tilden and Harriet (Huston) Otis, of Woolwich, Me. Of three children, two daughters living. Died of concussion of the spine, occasioned by an accidental fall, 1897, Oct. 27, aged 53 years, 3 months, and 23 days.1
