Orrin G. Stuart/Stewart/Stuard was born 1827 in North or South Carolina. His parents are unknown at this date [August 2007]. Orrin and Jane Elizabeth Davis, daughter of Jonathan Davis and Eleanor Kenmore are married in York district, South Carolina, around 1847, in March 1857 the Davis family and Orrin and his wife move to Bradley county, Arkansas. With the outbreak of the Civil War, Orrin returns to South Carolina and enlists in the Confederate Army on April 13, 1861, by Capt. Hutchinson for the period of the war.
