Margaret Morrison's first husband was Donald McLeod and our McLeod family and its many branches is descended from this couple. Donald died between 1808 and 1816 and Margaret remarried Duncan Campbell in 1816 and created another branch of our tree.

"my daughter Eliza" and a letter written by a granddaughter of Jane (McLeod) Buchanan which states that Duncan Campbell,Sr. and Margaret (Morrison) (McLeod) had a daughter named "Elizabeth"... no other references to her have been found) .
