(Della's Instructions re burial)

**This note was attached to the probate paperwork of Della (Stone) Lincoln. Due to the difficulty of reading the handwriting on the original note, I have transcribed same as closely as possible to the original (including the underlined words)**

Winthrop June 5th/52

Dear Mr. Prescott:
I am enclosing the address of the Superintendant of the Brockton Cemetery where my ashes will be buried beside my husband Edward H. Lincoln. My birth & death will need to be put on the stone Born 1870 Died ______ along with my husbands. If there is any money left, I want you to have it, giving Mrs. Pearson a portion for her kindness, using your own judgement. I also want to say that I do not want my casket opened at my service. With many thanks for your kindness & friendship.
Sincerely yours, Della Stone Lincoln.
