OBITUARY OF
WILLIAM B. DAYE

(Published in the Saint John Globe - January 22, 1913)

DIED AT ST. GEORGE

Mr. William B. Daye, formerly of this city, passed away this morning at his home in St. George. He was a native of St. John and lived the greater part of his life in the North End.

While here he was engaged in the lumber business. About four years ago he retired from business and, accompanied by his wife and daughter, went to reside in St. George. He was in good health until a few days ago when he took sick and death followed. The deceased was in the 86th year of his age and is survived by his wife, three sons, Messrs. Percy and W. McLeod Daye, of this city, and Prof. Fred. L. Daye, of Bellows Falls, Vt., and two daughters, Mrs. H.C. Wallace and Miss Annie, both of St. George. The deceased was well known throughout the city and his death will be heard with regret by a wide circle of friends.
