Carl L. Bopp
Carl L. Bopp, 58, of Terre Haute died Monday, Nov. 13, 2000, in his
home. He was president of Mechanical Suppliers. He was born Nov. 13,
1942, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Carl L. Bopp Sr. and Florence Bopp.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Bopp; two daughters, Tracey Sanders
and Anne Bopp, both of Terre Haute; two sons, Brian Bopp and Christopher
Bopp, both of Terre Haute; one grandson, Jonah Sanders of Terre Haute;
one brother, Jon Bruce Bopp of Terre Haute; one sister, Janis Patrick of
Louisville, Ky.; his mother of Louisville; Sally Bopp of Orlando, Fla.;
and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his
father. He was a graduate of Wiley High School in 1960, and a 1969
graduate of the Indiana State University School of Business. He served
in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Home Builders Association of Terre
Haute, Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, Lake Monroe Sailing Association, and
honorary lifetime member of Terre Haute Radio Control Club. He was
president and founder of Fishy. A memorial celebration will be scheduled
at a later date. Cremation is scheduled. Roselawn Funeral Home assisted
