being so marked, or having any writing thereon, they are
to be charged by weight, at the same rate as Letters,
Foreign Newspapers re-posted in the Colony, are also
charged at the same rate as Letters.
Letters or Packets put into a Post Office, for delivery
from the same Post Office, are to be charged one Penny each.
Letters or Packets, from or to places out of the Colony,
to be charged each-
Single, weighing less than 1/2 oz., - 0s. 3d.
Double, weighing 1/2 oz., but less than 3/4 oz. - 0s. 6d.
Treble, weighing 3/4 oz., but less than 1 oz. - 0s. 9d.
Quadruple, weighing 1 oz., but less than 1 1/4oz. - 1s. 0d.
addition to the Inland Postage.
Both Inland and Ship Postage must be paid at the time
when Ship Letters are put into a Post 0ffice for despatch,
or they will not be forwarded.
