On the 27 of July 2002 we held our first Reunion of the Descendants of Eugene Elmer Dunham
by his first wife Emma Longe and his second wife Mildred Johnson. There was approximately
45 persons who participated in the event. The day was not bad considering a few quick rain
showers. The children had fun with pinatas, whiffle ball and other games while the adults
got to know each other when the two families got together for the first time. The oldest
attendee was 77 years old from St. Albans, VT., grandson of Eugene and Emma, and the youngest
were 14 month old twins from Unity, NH., great great grandchildren of Eugene &
Mildred. Those attending were from Brattleboro, Putney, Rutland, St. Albans, Springfield,
and Vernon, Vermont. Hinsdale, Charlestown, Unity, Langdon, Keene, and Alstead, New
Hampshire. and Webster, Massachusetts.
