Cemetery Layout

First, I would like to share with you how I determined the different sections (A-H) and how many names I have recorded in each section. Above is a drawing of the cemetery which I have put together (please note the map is not drawn to scale).

I began with section "A" as you can find above. There are 43 rows in this section which run length wise from the top right hand corner down to the bottom right hand corner. The plot numbers in each of these rows then runs left towards the far left of the map. Section "A" is often considered "the old part of the cemetery". It is about 366 feet wide and 260 feet long. This section contains the oldest burials including the oldest dating back to 1762. Section "A" contains 1,839 tombstones in which I have documented information off of.

Section "B" is the next section which can be found directly to the right of Section "A". This section is laid out just like Section "A" in which the rows (1-26) start in the upper right hand corner and go down along the right side of the section towards South Muddy Creek Road. The plot numbers also run from the right (beginning with #1) to the left of the section. Section "B" is about 22 feet wide and 297 feet long and it contains 108 tombstones in which I have documented information off of.

Section "C" is next, and can be found directly to the right of Section "B". This is also laid out the same as Sections "A" & "B" in which the row numbers (1-28) start in the upper right hand corner running down the right side of the section towards South Muddy Creek Road. The plot numbers are also the same, running from the right of the sectoin (beginning with #1) going left to how ever many there might be in the certain row. Section "C" is about 34 feet wide and 247 feet long and it contains 137 tombstones in which I have documented information off of.

Section "D" is next, and can be found directely to the right of Section "C". This is also laid out the same as Sections "A,B & C" in which the row numbers (1-24) start in the upper right hand cornor running down the right side of the section towards South Muddy Creek Road. The plot numbers are also the same, running from the right of the section (beginning with #1) going left to how ever many there might be in the certain row. Section "D" is about 32 feet wide and 258 feet long and it contains 106 tombstones in which I have documented information off of.

Section "E" is next, and can be found directly to the right of Section "D". The road which runs through the cemetery makes a loop through this section, so Section "E" is on both sides of the loop. This is also laid out the same as Sections "A,B,C & D" in which the row numbers (1-27) start in the upper right hand corner running down the right side of the section towards South Muddy Creek Road. The plot numbers are also the same, running from the right of the sectoin (beginning with #1) going left to how ever many there might be in the certain row. Section "E" is about 123 feet wide and 272 feet long and it contains 248 tombstones in which I have documented information off of.

Section "F" can be found across the main driveway that enters the cemetery. This section is laid out differently than the previous ones that I have described to you. The row numbers (1-10) start in the upper left hand corner of the section and run down towards South Muddy Creek Road. The plot numbers run from the left of the section towards the right to however many there might be in that row. Section "F" is about 423 feet wide and about 94 feet long. Section "F" contains 376 tombstones in which I have documented information off of.

Section "G" can be found directly above section "F". A roadway seperates the two sections. This section is laid out exactly like Section "F". The row numbers (1-11) start in the upper left hand corner of the section and run down towards South Muddy Creek Road. The plot numbers run from the left of the section towards the right to however many there might be in that row. Section "G" is about 458 feet wide and about 92 feet long. Section "G" contains 610 tombstones in which I have documented information off of.

Section "H" can be found directly above section "G". A roadway seperates the two sections. This section is laid out exactly like Sections "F & G". The row numbers (1-12) start in the upper left hand corner of the section and run down towards South Muddy Creek Road. The plot numbers run from the left of the section towards the right to however many there might be in that row. Section "H" is about 462 feet wide and about 110 feet long. Section "H" contains 549 tombstones in which I have documented information off of.

All together the cemetery contains 3,972 tombstones

in which I have documented and published information off of!!!!
