Oneonta Herald on June 6, 1869: “DIED – At Manteno, Ill., 20th ult., in the 22d year of her age, Mary Brewster, wife of A. D. Edgerton, late of Ninevah, Broome Co.” The household of “A. D.” Edgerton was recorded in the 1900 Federal
Census of White Plains (Ward 2), Westchester County, New York (pg. 98;
dwelling #302; family #325; enum. June 8, 1900), as follows:
According to the above census record, Deborah was
the mother of three children, all of whom were still living; and Mable was
the mother of one child. Albert’s
occupation was listed as “agent insurance”, and Claude was listed as a
