Distribution of the Widow’s Dower

 

 

“We the subscribers being appointed by the Hon. Judge of Probate for the District of Rutland a committee to set off to Mrs. Mary Thomson late Widow of Capt. Daniel Edgerton late of Tinmouth deceased for dower which [---] her of the Estate of her late Husband have set off to the said Mary the following Tract or parcel of land with the buildings and appurtenances thereon (viz) – one Hundred acre lot lying south of Philip Whites farm – and a piece off from the East end of the home Farm the whole width of said farm to extend West to the height of Land on the south line of said farm thence north 10o East from said height of Land to the N. line of said farm, by the same more or less.
