Mrs. “Mary E. Edgerton, aged 46” died at Morris, Illinois in April of
1865. She was buried on April 28, 1865
at Evergreen Cemetery – in the plot owned by her brother, Stephen C. Hinsdill
(Block 1, plot #16). The
household of “Danl W. Edgarton” was recorded in the 1880 Federal
Census of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois (pg. 410; dwelling #225; family #316; enum.
June 14, 1880), as follows:
