The Last Will and Testament of Guy Earl Edgerton

     (Oneida County Probate; Vol. 22; pp. 235 – 236)

  I Guy E. Edgerton of Sangerfield Oneida Co. N.Y. do make and publish this my last will and testament as follows.

  First.  I will and order my executor to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses.

  Second.  All the rest and residue of my estate Real and Personal after the same shall be converted into money I give and bequeath to my children Esther Amanda, Elizabeth Amelia, Emily Cordelia, Edna Ann and John H. and their heirs share and share alike.

  Third.  I nominate and appoint Platt Camp executor of this will, and do hereby authorize and empower him to sell assign and convey my real and personal estate in as full and ample a manner as I could do if living and to distribute the same in money according to the terms hereof.

  In Witness hereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 12th day of April 1870.

  The foregoing will was now here subscribed by the said Testator Guy E. Edgerton in our presence and was at the same time declared by him to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

  I Joseph S. Avery Surrogate of the said County do hereby certify the foregoing to be the record of the last Will and Testament of Guy E. Edgerton deceased, and the proofs and examinations taken thereon.
