Timothy Brainerd Edgerton was born at Randolph, Vermont on August 10, 1790, the eldest child of Oliver and Lucy (Brainerd) Edgerton.  There is very little report of him and it does not appear that he left any descendants.  He was raised in Randolph, Vermont and later resided for a time in Bangor, Maine, as evidenced by the 1830 Federal Census (see below).  His wife was Eliza Titus, daughter of Nathan Titus of Corinth, Vermont.

According to family accounts, Timothy Brainerd Edgerton was married to Eliza Titus and died at Manchester, New Hampshire in October 1845, although this has not been confirmed by any primary documation.

The household of Timothy B. Edgerton was recorded in the 1830 Federal Census of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine (pg. 360), with the following enumeration:

1 male “of 20 and under 30”  (Timothy); and,

1 female “of 20 and under 30  (wife Eliza).

Timothy Brainerd Edgerton died at Manchester, New Hampshire on October 4, 1845.  According to his death record (New Hampshire State Death Certificate Abstracts, unnumbered), he was aged 53 years and was buried at Manchester, New Hampshire.  The cause of death was given as “consumption”.

Mrs. Eliza (Titus) Edgerton died at Manchester, New Hampshire on September 15, 1890.  According to her death record (New Hampshire State Death Certificate Abstracts, unnumbered), she was aged 82 years, 10 months, 7 days, and was born at Corinth, Vermont, the daughter of Nathan Titus.  The cause of death was given as “dysentery”.
