Andrew
Calvin Walker
did have a family Bible with family information which
was last mentioned in 1940. When his son, Ruby Emmit Walker
applied for a delayed birth certificate that year, his
sister Birdie filed a statement saying that she was quoting
from Andrew's family Bible which included the note "A.
C. Walker's book, Huntsville, Tennessee, December 13,
1899." She also stated at that time that the Bible
was in the possession of Paris Clyde Walker, Sr., but
its present location is unknown. The Bible may exist in
the records of Donald Wesley Walker, but Paris' wife,
Mattie Elizabeth (Jones), distributed much of the family
information to Paris' living brothers and sisters when
Paris died, leaving immediate family unaware of exactly
what Paris once had.
