Still living in Caryville, Corilda began erasing 1923 entries and making new ones for 1924. Almost immediately, the household has shrunk to 3 people, Andrew, Corilda, and son Paris.

Ruby had put what amounts to a letter of recommendation for himself on a train; the father of Lillith Beebe found and and wanted Ruby to meet his daughter. He went to California and married her shortly thereafter.

Began raining this eav 1 O.C. First time it's rain'd in 27 days - been warm days and cool nights. 4 frosts in the time of the clear weather. Ridenours mov'd their things from here to Laf on a farm yesterday. Alex built a house near LaFollette.
