Obit from Herald of Truth, Jan. 15, 1890:
Bottorf--On 15th of December 1889, in Guilford Tp., Medina Co., Ohio,
Elizabeth Bottorf, aged 81 years, 3 months and 26 days. She was born in
Bucks Co., PA, August 19th, 1808. She was sick about two years,
and most of the time had to sit in a chair, but bore it all patiently.
We hope she is now where
"No chilling winds, nor poisonous breath
Can reach that healthful shore;
Sickness and sorrow, pain and death
Are feared and felt no more."
She was buried at the Guilford Mennonite meeting house, where services
were held by Eph. Hunsberger, in German from Psa. 73, and in English
from 2d Timothy 4:7, 8, by Martin Leatherman.
