Their children Sophronia Jane and Samuel Loren were listed as living with them.³ (The actual enumeration date must have been much later as their son Samuel, who was listed on the census, wasn't born until October of 1860.) Nancy Marenda Davis and James Gilliland appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Riley, McHenry County, Illinois, enumerated 8 August 1870.
