GENEALOGY OF JOHN WINGROVE
JOHN WINGROVE:
Born in 1750 in London England. Came to America in 1768.
He served in the American Revolution; married and the first Son, was
William Wingrove.
He married and his first Son was Harrison Wingrove
who married and his first wife died [ Maria Peebles] and he married again to
Frances Wiess ( or Wiesse) Phillips;
also her second marriage. This, at
French Creek, WEST VIRGINIA.
Their first son was CHARLES WINGROVE, who served in the civil war. At the
close of the war, and some more education, he came to the West. At the
age of Early Thirties, he married Odille Paranteau,
near the City of
Clay
Center, Kansas; to this marriage was born the following:
First son: Roy A Wingrove August 6, 1879
Two. (2nd) Son: Walter Wingrove: September 24th, 1880
Third Son: CLAUDE WINGROVE: October 6th, 1881
Their DAUGHTERS WERE: First - ADA C. Wingrove
BORN: Dec. 25th 1882
Who married CHARLES MALCOLM
at Clay Center,
Kansas
Their first son is DONALD C MALCOLM
Their Second Son: BERNARD MALCOLM
Their Third Son: NORMAN MALCOLM
Their Second Daughter was: ALMA IRENE WINGROVE
BORN AUGUST 20th, 1894
Who married NELSE
KENNETH NELSON, at Junction City, Kansas Aug 20, 1917
To that marriage was born One Son, Robert Kenneth Nelson,
May 14th, 1919
at Clay Center, Kansas.
One daughter, NINA ODILLE NELSON, (WADLEY), June 6th, 1920 at Clay Center
Kansas
