Record Book 11, Page 171 - Filed 29 March 1830 - Petition for Partition William Russel & Lydia Russel Caleb Russel. Caleb Russel died in 1810, leaving heirs: Lydia Russel, widow; William Rus sel and Caleb Russel. Caleb owned 720 acres in Military Survey Number 47 99 (wayne Tp., James Calderwood Survey) which was purchased on 23 Decemb er 1805. The executor of the estate had conveyed 160 acres each to Jose ph Russel and Joshua Russel, which left 400 acres for the widow and the ch ildren. On 29 April 1830, the court appraisers, William Organ, John Wils on and Matthew Stewart, set aside 133 1,3 acres far the dower portion.
