From here we find our way up towards Iowa City, the former state capital and find a pleasant lodging place with Hiram and Flora Heath, whose happy countenances are still familiar with many of our citizens. Mr H is one of the leading men of this community and a geniune Republican who votes as he shot- right at the rebels. A pleasant family of four children and his aged mother in law, Aunt mary Taylor, with Flor's ever agreeable company, makes this one of the happiest families in Iowa
