Her maiden name was Clark. She was united in marriage to Otha Preston at the age of nineteen. To this union was born ten children, of this number, only three remained to witness her departure. She was a grandmother to 22 children, 20 are living and she was a great grandmo ther to 3 children. The funeral service was at the home, three miles north west of Millerstown on Friday Sept 21 1900, conducted by Rev J T Kite. Int erment was in the old family cemetery near her former home.
