Explanation of this census by Anita Fielder and Dave Burns (Ward researchers)
Well, James (Ward (parents) )had to be deceased by Christmas Eve 1857 when his widow Nancy Jane married Thomas Moore. Edward Ward is mis-enumerated or mis-transcribed -- he's Edward C. Moore born to Thomas and Nancy in 1859. There is another son of theirs, Charley Scott Moore, born in 1861.Thomas More should be son of William Moore/More and Mary ASKREN.
I don't know why Nancy Jane wasn't enumerated here, because they were married and she was still living in 1880. I think Sarah J is a mistaken enumeration of Nancy J (along with her age), because Thomas Moore and his first wife didn't have a daughter Sarah -- Temperance, Mary Temperance, and Emeline were their daughters.
