Since its first meeting on 19 September 2001, the Omaha (NE) TMG Users Group has been meeting once a month
to share ideas and tips for the most effective use of
The Master Genealogist™ (TMG),
the powerful genealogical software program created by Wholly Genes.
Our group includes people from all over the greater Omaha area, who use TMG in different ways and have varying levels of expertise, making for interesting and useful exchanges of information.
Over the years we have expanded our scope to include discussions of related genealogical software and research techniques.
Membership is free and open to all users of TMG software, from beginners to advanced.
Our goal is to provide information and user help for the optimum use of TMG, and to have a good time while doing it!
The Omaha TMG Users Group meets the third Thursday of every month (except December) at 7:00 p.m. at:

Panera Bread
7825 Dodge St. (corner of 78th St.)
Omaha, NE
(Free wi-fi access)
An email reminder is sent out the week before each meeting.
Members take turns presenting TMG or other genealogical topics each month. The member who is presenting the topic e-mails that month's handout to the other members a few days (or hours) before the meeting so that they can read it in advance, print it out, and bring it along. Contact Martha or Siobhan to be added to our mailing list. Members are also encouraged to bring laptops, if they have them, or their project files on removable media (CDs or flash drives) for Q&A sessions.
Past presentations are archived here for easy reference.
Three TMG training videos and one DVD are available for check-out to members:
