Was Native of Boston – Services To be Held Saturday Morning

Mrs. Theresa Carroll, 73, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ray S. Dunaway, wife of Superintendent Dunaway of the Jefferson County Home.  Mrs. Carroll had been at her daughter’ home about four weeks.  About one week ago she was taken ill and pneumonia developed.

She was born at Rochester, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Brennan.  Her first husband, Robert Toombs, died about 40 years ago.  Later she married Dennis Carroll, who died five years ago.

There survive the following children:  Mrs. Thomas Mahoney, Mrs. Claude Lucas, Mrs. William Hart, city; Fred Toombs, Adams Center; James Carroll, Barnes Corners; Mrs. Ray S. Dunaway, city; Mrs. Isreal Leclair, Baldwins, L.I.; Mrs. E.W. Duclon, Alexandria Bay; Thomas Carroll, Fulton, and Edward Carroll, city; four brothers, E.J. Brennan, J. H. Brennan and P.H. Brennan, Tulsa, Okla. And C.H. Brennan, Brockport, Pa.; four sisters, Mrs. Jennie Harmon, Tulsa; Mrs. M. W. Corcoran, California; Mrs. Thomas Murphy, Akron, O., and Mrs. Leon Wood, Copenhagen, and Mrs. Eliza Ingolls, Copenhagen.

Funeral will be held Saturday morning at 9 from the home of Mrs. Ray Dunaway and at 10 from St. Peter and Paul church, New Boston, Rev. Father Owen officiating.  Burial will be made in New Boston cemetery.
